After being pick-up at the airport or your hotel you will start your journey to Kandy, the ancient capital of Sri Lanka. On the way you will be visiting the famous Elephant Orphanage in Pinawella, a tea factory and a traditional spice garden. After you will be embark on a Kandy sightseeing tour which includes the Temple of the Tooth, the Kandy Lake and a show of traditional Kandy Dancing.

After breakfast you will start a day trip to Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa.
Sigiriya Rock Fortress was built in the 5th century A.D and is claimed to be the 8th wonder in the world). See the water garden, bolder garden, paintings of the world famous "cloud girls", mirror wall, lion's paws and the swimming pool on the top.
Polonnaruwa is an ancient city dating back to the 10th-12th century A.D). You will be visiting the modern museum, the Parakrama Samudra (a gigantic reservoir made by king Parakrama the Great), the Palace of king Parakrama, the Kumara Pokuna (pond used by royal family with the water flowing system), the Shiva temple, the Thuparama Shrine room and the glittering statues, the Lotus Pond and a traditional wood carving factory.
Overnight stay in Kandy.
In the morning you will see the former Royal Botanical Garden, one of the most important botanical gardens in the world.After lunch you will proceed to Dambulla known for its stunning cave temples and natural beauty and transfer back to the airport / hotel.
